Hayden AI Hires Transformational Technology Leader Weilie Yi as VP of Data Science

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., May 1, 2022 — Hayden AI Technologies, Inc. (“Hayden AI”), a leading smart city solutions provider that enforces traffic laws using advanced computer vision and deep learning technologies through its autonomous traffic management platform, today announced the appointment of Weilie Yi, Ph.D., as Vice President of Data Science.

Yi joins Hayden AI with extensive expertise in geospatial analytics and over 10 years of experience driving innovative data strategies. He will lead the company’s team of data science experts to develop cutting-edge analytics tools to derive insights from the location-aware data captured by the company’s proprietary perception-based systems.

Prior to joining Hayden AI, Yi served as an AI and Data Science consultant for early stage startups. He previously held senior positions at streaming analytics startup Antenna and location-based analytics startup Placed, which was acquired by Snap and Foursquare, where he led high-performing teams to implement and scale new data science services.

Yi began his career as a software engineer at Microsoft. He holds a PhD in Computer Science with an emphasis on human-object interaction from the University of Rochester.
